Spiced Ginger Cauliflower

A wonderful side for any protein that can be eaten with some lentils and rice. Can also be added to salads for a nice spicy bite!


  • 1 head of Cauliflower (450 grams or 1 pound)
  • 2 Tbsp. packed cilantro
  • 1 inch piece of ginger
  • 1 Green Chili or to taste
  • 1/2 Lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. Oil
  • Salt to Taste


  1. Cut Cauliflower into 1-inch florets
  2. Coarsely grind Cilantro, Ginger and Chili in food processor
  3. Heat oil in a wok
  4. Add the grinded paste, saute for a couple minutes
  5. Add salt
  6. Add the Cauliflower
  7. Toss around till the paste covers most of the florets
  8. Cook until slightly done, retain its crispiness
  9. Once you turn the heat off, add the Lemon juice
