Chicken Drumsticks in Tikka Masala

Ingredients:

  • 1 Kg (about 2 lbs) Chicken Drumsticks with skin
  • 1 ½ tsp. Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 ½ tsp. Green Papaya paste ( you can also use paste of Asian Pear, Kiwi or
  • Pineapple, they all have the enzymes that tenderize meat) – Optional
  • 1 tsp. Red Chili powder
  • 1tsp. Garam Masala powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric
  • ¼ cup Yogurt
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  • Wash Chicken, pat it dry
  • Take a knife and poke holes in the Chicken
  • To the Chicken add Ginger, Garlic, Green Papaya, Chili, Garam Masala, Turmeric,
  • Yogurt and salt
  • Mix well
  • Marinate overnight
  • Oil Grill
  • Grill Chicken Drumsticks till done
